DKS’s goal is to continually improve the quality of the company’s products and services, to do each job better than it was done previously, and to do it correctly the first time.


To achieve this, DKS requires a commitment to quality by all members of staff, who are expected to:

  • Understand and adhere to DKS’s quality management system;
  • Keep abreast of advances in their area of professional expertise, and maintain awareness of current standards and good practice in the marketplace;
  • Communicate appropriately within the company, so that DKS’s extensive body of expertise is most effectively applied.

DKS has a dedicated quality management structure in place responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the company’s quality management system, including the production of a quality manual, the implementation and monitoring of quality standards, and the conduct of quality audits. Quality objectives are set each year as part of the annual strategic planning and budgeting process. DKS believes in having a balanced set of key performance indicators, so these objectives address the four key result areas: Financial, Customer, Operations and People. Each year targets are set, responsibilities allocated and timings agreed to.
