Gateway Upgrade North (GUN) Current 12Km’s
DKS was involved with this planning study, which included a review of previous planning undertaken by other consultants to achieve a 6-lane sliver widening of the Gateway Motorway between Nudgee and the Deagon Deviation. The commission involved preliminary concept plans and associated cost estimates to achieve 6-lane sliver widening with appropriate design standards. Once the preferred option was obtained the project was be staged to suit TMR funding programs. DKS also investigated various design solutions for the Deagon Deviation which was costed and incorporated as part of the design drawings.
