PAVEMENT DESIGN PROJECTS

The Accelerated Road Rehabilitation Program (ARRP) was a TMR initiative to accelerate maintenance and rehabilitation projects that would have been delivered over 15 years, into a compressed program. In doing this, TMR was able to generate efficiencies through economies of scale and innovation during design and construction.

DKS was involved in the following:

• Pavement designer for the rehabilitation scheme. Successfully implemented a design approach that empowered the rehabilitation team to optimise insitu conditions through the provision of flexible pavement designs.
• Supported the rehabilitation team through appropriate initial investigations and follow up field testing to baseline rehabilitation outcomes.
