Development Approval of 216 residential allotments located at Calliope (near Gladstone). Scope including co-ordinating the application with technical assessments from Town Planners, geotechnical, stormwater drainage and landscaping consultants to support the application. DKS Consulting prepared the Development Layout and undertook preliminary designs of the roadworks, stormwater drainage, water supply and sewerage. Detailed investigation was undertaken on the earthworks to ensure that the maximum number of benched lots could be achieved within the relatively steep terrain encountered on the site to cater for the preferred slab-on-ground dwellings in the region. Such was the relationship that we had developed with the council we were able to obtain operational works approval for Bulk Earthworks prior to us actually obtaining Development Approval.
